Dnevnik.hr on Nema dima: all of Croatia covered

Dnevnik.hr, the news portal of Croatia’s Nova TV, ran a tech story on Nema dima titled “All of Croatia covered: check this app before you sit down for coffee”.

The article highlights that the app covers more than 13,000 hospitality venues across Croatia and is entirely community-driven: instead of relying on official signage, the data comes from user reports, with a weighted voting system that gives priority to more recent information. Signing in with a Google or Facebook account prevents misuse, and anyone can vote, report inaccurate data or add a missing venue.

As Martin explained to Dnevnik.hr, the platform helps both smokers looking for a designated smoking area and non-smokers who want a smoke-free environment. The app is also available in English, making it useful for foreign tourists, and it is completely free and ad-free, with an optional voluntary donation to support the project.
